This year, Ramla Bay Resort proudly celebrates 60 years of hospitality, marking six decades since the hotel first welcomed its guests on 1 August 1966.

From its beginnings on the beautiful Marfa peninsula to the resort it is today, Ramla Bay Resort has always been a place where guests can relax, reconnect, and create lasting memories. While the resort has grown and evolved over the years, our commitment has remained the same: genuine hospitality, exceptional experiences, and putting people at the heart of everything we do.

Ramla Bay Resort has continually evolved through thoughtful development. Originally designed by architect Richard England, the hotel was envisioned as a destination that embraced the natural beauty of the Marfa Peninsula while reflecting Malta’s rich architectural heritage. Today, it stands as a modern Mediterranean destination that honours its history while looking confidently towards the future, remaining rooted in the values of genuine hospitality and exceptional guest experiences that have defined it since 1966.

As part of our anniversary celebrations, we were honoured to recognise Angelo Fenech, our longest-serving colleague, for an incredible 50 years of dedicated service. His loyalty, hard work, and commitment have played an important role in the story of Ramla Bay Resort. General Manager Mr Mattocks, together with CEO Mr Bartolo and Company Director Mrs Galea, presented Angelo with a commemorative token in appreciation of this remarkable achievement.

As we celebrate this milestone, we also celebrate the people who have made it possible. To every colleague, past and present, every guest who has chosen to stay with us, and every partner and friend who has supported us throughout the years, thank you. You are all part of our story.
