At Ramla Bay Resort, dogs are welcomed as companions within a structured and respectful framework.

Our setting offers space, nature, and calm, making it well suited to responsible dog travel. As a shared resort environment, comfort and tranquillity for all guests remain our priority.

Our approach balances warmth with clear boundaries. Dogs are welcome within defined guidelines that protect atmosphere, safety, and mutual respect.

The resort reserves the right to decline or withdraw acceptance of any dog displaying behaviour incompatible with the resort environment.


Which Dogs Are Welcome

Dogs are welcome at Ramla Bay Resort by prior booking and confirmation.

Acceptance is based on temperament, training, and responsible ownership rather than breed alone.

All dogs must:

• Be in good health
• Be free from parasites
• Be up to date with standard vaccinations

The resort reserves the right to request proof of vaccination upon arrival.

A maximum of two dogs per room applies.

Dogs arriving without prior confirmation cannot be accommodated.


Rooms & Booking

Dogs are accommodated exclusively in designated dog friendly rooms, which are limited in number and subject to availability at the time of booking.

To ensure the comfort of all guests, dogs are not permitted in rooms other than those specifically allocated as dog friendly.


Arrival & Orientation

Dog friendly rooms are prepared in advance with essential amenities.

On arrival, owners receive a short orientation outlining:

• Approved dog friendly areas
• Restricted zones
• Key movement and supervision guidelines

A copy of the Dog Welcome Policy is provided digitally prior to arrival and is available in room for reference.

Owners must provide a contact number reachable at all times during their stay.


Where Dogs May Go

Dogs are welcome in designated indoor and outdoor areas and along approved walking routes across the resort grounds.

For hygiene, safety, and guest comfort, dogs are not permitted in:

• Indoor or outdoor pool areas
• Buffet restaurants (a designated annex seating area is available where applicable)
• Spa, wellness, and fitness facilities
• Turfed or cultivated green areas

Dogs must remain leashed and under direct control in all public areas.

Service dogs are accommodated in accordance with applicable regulations.


Behaviour & Supervision

Dogs must not be left unattended for extended periods.

If disturbance is reported, the resort may contact the owner and request immediate attendance.

Persistent barking, aggressive behaviour, or signs of distress will be addressed promptly.

Owners are fully responsible for their dogs at all times.


Cleanliness & Housekeeping

Owners are expected to clean up after their dogs in all areas. Designated waste disposal points are provided across the resort.

For safety reasons, housekeeping services dog friendly rooms only when dogs are secured or not present.

All dog friendly rooms receive enhanced cleaning as part of our standard care.

Cleaning charges and replacement fees are applied where necessary in accordance with documented operational requirements. Full details are outlined in our Dog Welcome Policy.


Damage & Cleaning Deposit

Owners are responsible for any damage or excessive cleaning required as a result of their dog’s stay.

A €100 pre authorisation is held on arrival as a cleaning and damage deposit.

Upon departure, the room is inspected. If no excessive cleaning or damage is identified, the pre authorisation is released following inspection; however, release timing may vary depending on the issuing bank.


Respect for the Resort Environment

Ramla Bay Resort is a shared space.

In serious cases of non compliance, the resort reserves the right to terminate the stay. Refunds, if any, will be determined at the resort’s discretion based on the circumstances.

This measure is rare but essential to protect the experience of all guests.
