Malta is within the Euro Zone, and our currency is the Euro (€).

WHAT IS THE DISTANCE TO THE AIRPORT?

The airport is approximately 25 kilometres away, and transit time is around 45 minutes.

WHAT IS THE DISTANCE TO THE CAPITAL CITY, VALLETTA?

Malta’s capital city, Valletta, is located approximately 20 kilometres away from the Resort.

WHAT IS THE DISTANCE TO THE NEAREST VILLAGE?

The nearest village, Mellieha, is located 5 kilometres away. Banks and pharmacies, as well as shops and restaurants, can be found there.

WHAT IS THE DISTANCE TO THE GOZO FERRY?

Gozo Ferry terminal is 1.5 km from the Resort. Ferry timetables to the islands of Gozo & Comino are available from the Reception. The ferry crossing takes 20 minutes.

IS PUBLIC TRANSPORT ACCESSIBLE FROM THE RESORT?

Public bus transport to Mellieha, St Paul’s Bay, Mosta, Valletta, Sliema, Birkirkara and the Airport, among many other places of interest, is a 5-minute walk away (250 meters) from the Resort.

CAN TRANSFERS BE PRE-BOOKED?

Yes, we can arrange transfers to/from the Airport and to all other destinations.

IS A COURTESY BUS AVAILABLE?

A Minibus Service to Mellieha is operated once daily, except on Sundays & Public Holidays. This is against payment (but complimentary to our All Inclusive guests).

IS THERE A LAUNDRY SERVICE?

Yes, we offer a Laundry Service, at a charge.

IS A DOCTOR AVAILABLE?

Yes, a doctor is on call on a 24-hour basis.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ROOM TYPES?

All Room types enjoy country or sea views, although our Promotional Rooms might have non-direct views.

In the main building, the ‘Twin Country View’ Rooms have an AC, Direct Tel, TV, Safe, Hair Dryer, Mini Bar, Tea & Coffee Making Facilities and Balcony. The ‘Twin Sea View’ Rooms have the same, and overlook the Bay and the Gozo channel. Guests staying in this main building are entitled to have their board meals in the Horizon Restaurant.

In the Atrium Wing, the ‘Deluxe Rooms’ – most of which have Sea Views – include all the facilities of the Country View and Sea View rooms, with enhanced Tea & Coffee Making facilities, and a Mini Bar that is stocked once, free of charge, upon arrival. The same equipment can be found in the ‘Suites’, although these have an extra, separate living room, with a sofa (that opens into a double bed), another flat screen TV, a second bathroom and a larger Balcony/Terrace. In the corners of the building, we have our ‘Panoramic Suites’, with amazing Sea Views of Cirkewwa, Armier, or the open sea. Guests staying in this New Wing are entitled to have their board meals in the Terramar Restaurant (which opens for breakfast and dinner).

Also in the Atrium Wing, we have a number of Studio Apartments (with a kitchenette) and One-Bedroom Apartments, where the kitchenette is in a separate living room. These are bookable on a self-catering basis.

WHAT TIMES ARE CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT?

Check-in is from 2pm and check-out is by 11am. Kindly advise the Resort of your time of arrival and time of departure, and we will do our utmost to accommodate any possible requests.

WHAT IS THE POWER VOLTAGE?

In Malta, the power sockets are type G, and use the same three-pin-plugs type as in the UK. The standard voltage is 220-250V and the standard frequency is 50 Hz. Adapters can be purchased from our mini market.

DOES THE RESORT HAVE A BEACH AND POOL AREA?

Yes, the Resort is known for its Beach and Pool facilities. The Resort has three outdoor seawater pools, an indoor freshwater pool (heated in the winter months and where restricted timings for children may apply), a fitness room, a second indoor freshwater pool in the spa area (relaxation only), a private sandy beach (available May to October) and a rocky foreshore. The Water Sports Centre is open from May to October. The Diving Centre is open year round. Available outdoor facilities may vary subject to weather conditions

IS THERE A SPA?

Yes, there is a high-end spa within the resort, offering a variety of treatments, a sauna, steam room (traditional Turkish Hammam), and other facilities.

IS THERE A DIVE CENTRE?

Yes, a 5-star PADI Dive Centre operates year-round at the Resort.

DO ALL ROOM TYPES HAVE BALCONIES?

Yes, all our rooms have balconies.

IS THERE A PARKING AREA?

Yes, a complimentary, unsupervised parking area is available.

ARE SAFES AVAILABLE?

Yes, Safety Deposit Boxes are available in the rooms, at a charge. Safes are complimentary in the Deluxe Rooms, Suites, Panoramic Suites, Studio apartments and One-Bedroom apartments.

ARE TEA AND COFFEE FACILITIES AVAILABLE IN THE ROOMS?

Yes, Tea & Coffee Making facilities are available in all the rooms. Our Deluxe Rooms, Suites, Panoramic Suites, Studio Apartments and One-Bedroom apartments enjoy improved facilities.

IS WIFI AVAILABLE?

Free Wifi is available in all rooms and in most indoor and outdoor public areas of the Resort. An internet café is available (at a charge) in the lobby area, by the Information Room.

IS THERE A MINI MARKET?

A Mini Market selling snacks, newspapers, books, gifts, toiletries, postcards, beverages and much more is open daily.

WHAT BARS AND RESTAURANTS ARE THERE IN THE RESORT?

We have a number of Bars and Restaurants at Ramla. The main ‘Horizon’ Buffet Restaurant and the Sunset Lounge are open daily. In the Atrium Wing, the Terramar buffet restaurant, our a la carte Piatto Nero restaurant, our vegetarian/vegan Bnin Eatery, and the cafeteria Kofi & Kale are also open daily. The Brigantine Lounge and Bar located in the Atrium Wing is open on some evenings. The ‘Alang Alang’ a la carte restaurant, the Seabreeze pool bar, Waterline Bar & Kitchen, Watermelon Juice Bar, and The Mojitos Beach Terrace are open during the summer season (weather permitting).

WHAT BOARD BASIS CAN BE BOOKED AT THE RESORT?

We offer a number of options for your stay, including Bed & Breakfast, Half Board (Breakfast & Dinner) & All-Inclusive. Some of our new accommodation units – including our Studio, 1- and 2-bedroom apartments, are available on a Self-Catering basis. All meals are served in buffet style, and the assigned restaurant depends on the room category you have booked.

ARE BEACH TOWELS AVAILABLE?

Yes, every guest receives one complimentary pool-towel per stay. Additional beach towels and towel changes are available at a charge.

IS THE RESORT OPEN 24 HRS A DAY?

Yes, our Reception is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Car hire and excursions can be booked from the Lobby desks.

IS THERE A KIDS' CLUB AND BABY SITTING AVAILABLE?

Yes, our Kids’ Club is open five days a week and Babysitting can be booked at a charge.

S THE RAMLA BAY RESORT LGBTIQ FRIENDLY?

Yes, the Resort is proud to welcome diversity and is LGBTIQ friendly.

ARE MEETING ROOMS AVAILABLE AT THE RESORT?

Yes, the Resort offers a number of meeting rooms that can accommodate up to 550 people.
